Children's Ministry On Sunday mornings children are always welcome and encouraged in the service with their families! In addition there is also a traditional Sunday School Class for children up to 5th grade. Fathers are encouraged to teach their own children's classes. This provides rich child care for ages 1 month - 1st grade and Bible instructions for kids 2nd through 8th grade. Ron Holtz is the main contract for the children's ministry at kids@inewsong.com. Prayer Ministry The prayer ministry includes weekly prayer with the pastors every Monday at 7:30am as well as frequent church-wide prayer events such as Men's Prayer, 24 Hour Prayer Vigils, 40 Days of Prayer, August Heat and a Prayer Partner weekly email. Dennis Henry leads this minstry. Administrative Support If you enjoy office and administrative work, contact Ron Holtz to help with the myriads of activities that keep the church current, contemporary and running smoothly. Many gifted volunteers are desired in areas such as finances, art layout, web development and clerical support. Operation Christmas Child Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is an international ministry of www.samaritanspurse.org and a big deal at New Song. Each Christmas NS sends hundreds of shoeboxes filled with toys and valuable personal items to children in third world countries in great need. The gospel is also shared and often churches are started through these efforts. This is a year-round ministry lead by Lael, Jeff and Dennis. Men's and Women's Ministries The spiritual needs of men and women are vastly different and New Song has many discipleship and interest groups to meet those needs. Contact our office for a list of potential groups along with times, leaders and locations. A Small Group coach will guide you to several possible groups. Leadership Development New Song believes in developing and empowering leaders throughout the church. Those with a leadership interests can meet with the pastors monthly for our Great Commission Leadership Institute (GCLI). In the GCLI, key doctrines, values and ministry issues are taught and discussed. Contact Paul Marshall for a schedule or more information. High School and Middle School The Junior and High School years are critical to a person's spiritual and mental development. That is why every 1st and 3rd Wednesday night from 7pm-9:00pm New Song has a dynamic family integrated House Church with most of the youth and their families.
